Glee party night in Chester!

In celebration of the successful new series 'Glee', Utopia, a local group for lesbian, gay and bisexual young people is hosting a party for the 'Gleek' in all of us. To be held at 7pm on Wednesday the 14th of April in the Chester Hub, young people are invited to join the group dressing as their favourite Glee character. The night itself will involve a screening of the pilot to take those attending back to where it all began, along with music from the show and refreshments including the infamous 'Slushies'.

Creative Space Launch

Creative space is a new project provided by Visyon and funded by the big lottery fund.  We are committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 11-25 in the Cheshire area by providing themed creative workshops, music events and   multimedia workshops in schools, local communities and at our premises in Congleton
On Saturday 27th March 2010 from 3pm-6pm we are holding a launch event at the vision offices.  (please see attached poster)

Sexual Health report

Connexions – Cheshire and Warrington Limited have conducted a comprehensive sexual health survey among young people across Cheshire East on behalf of the Council. The questionnaire focused on a variety of aspects of sexual health and young people’s awareness of and expectations about information surrounding the topic.

Drop in Sessions for young parents in Winsford

Connexions – Cheshire & Warrington Limited are working with Cheshire West and Chester Council to provide drop in centres for young parents under 19 in the Winsford area. The drop in sessions will take place from 1.30pm – 2.30pm at the new Over Children’s Centre, Ludlow Close, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 1LX.
